SUBJECT 1 · ROAD RULES

When leaving the expressway, slow down on the deceleration lane before entering the ramp.

A
True
B
False
ANSWER · A
Ramp: a road segment connecting upper and lower roads of an overpass or interchange, or connecting an expressway with adjacent auxiliary roads. Overpass ramps have separate entry and exit roads; vehicles only travel forward and may not U-turn. If you miss the exit ramp, you cannot go back; you can only exit at the next ramp. Interchange ramps must also be driven according to the signs. The speed limit for an expressway exit ramp is generally below 60 km/h, and for a curved ramp below 40 km/h. Since expressway speeds are much higher, you should slow down before entering the ramp.
