Per Article 48 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and its implementing regulations", when driving at night on roads without a central separator or centerline, switch to low beams at least 150 meters away from oncoming vehicles. On narrow roads, bridges, or when meeting non-motor vehicles, also use low beams.
