ANSWER · A
Per the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and its implementing regulations, signals for motor and non-motor vehicle traffic lights: (1) green light - vehicles may proceed, but turning vehicles must not obstruct straight-through vehicles or pedestrians being released; (2) yellow light - vehicles that have crossed the stop line may continue through; (3) red light - vehicles are prohibited from passing. At intersections without non-motor vehicle signals or pedestrian crossing signals, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians follow the motor vehicle signal. When the red light is on, right-turning vehicles may pass without obstructing released vehicles and pedestrians, but the entire vehicle must have crossed the stop line before continuing through. If only the front wheels have crossed when the red light comes on, the vehicle must stop, otherwise it counts as running a red light.
